Please note: Once we are asked to include your notice permanently in our calendar, we will not change it unless you contact us. If a meeting or event is canceled or rescheduled or the time is changed, you need to contact us with that information. Board of Health Meeting
The Galion Board of Health will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Galion City Health Dept., 113 Harding Way East.
Sewing Day-Peace Lutheran Church
A sewing day will be held at Peace Lutheran Church beginning at 9 a.m. There will be a noon potluck. Bring your scissors.

Galion Historical Society — Dining and Debate Fall Banquet
The banquet will be held at Galion Free Methodist Church, 683 Portland Way North. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6, with a program to start at 7 p.m. The banquet is open to the public at a cost of $15 per person for dinner and program. North Side Farmers Market
The market will be open on Tuesdays from 4 — 6 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken on Ohio State Route 598. Locally raised produce and baked goods will be for sale, with other items when available throughout the season, until mid-October.
Community Meal — First Lutheran Church
A free meal, open to the public, will be served at the church, 127 S. Columbus St. from 5 — 6 p.m.
AMVETS 1979
AMVETS 1979 executives and trustees will meet at 6 p.m. The regular meeting will be held afterwards, at 7 p.m.
The Laws & Ordinances Committee
The meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 6:15 p.m. has been rescheduled. This meeting of the Laws & Ordinances Committee is now scheduled at 6:15 p.m. in the Municipal Building at the corner of Harding Way East and S. Liberty Street, Galion, Ohio. Public invited.

The council meets at 7 p.m. on the second floor of the municipal building. The room opens at 6:45. The public is welcome to attend.

Crawford SWCD Board
Crawford SWCD board meetings are scheduled at 8 p.m. for April through November at 3111 State Route 98, Bucyrus Ohio. Meetings are open to the public. Call and verify the meeting has not been postponed.
Class of 1950 meets
GHS Class of 1950 will meet Sept. 14, at 12:30 p.m. for lunch and laughs at the Galion Moose, S. Market Street.
Free Blood Pressure Check-Hospital
Free blood pressure checks will be held from 9:30 — 11:30 a.m. in the Medication Mgt. Center (formerly Medical Staff Library). Park in the lower level parking lot D. Enter through the entrance located to the left, to Ambulatory Surgery. The Medication Management Center will be the first door on the right.
Tai Chi Classes
The First Presbyterian Church, 240 S. Maket St. hosts on-going Tai Chi classes every Wednesday, from 10 — 11:30 a.m. The cost is $8 per session.
