March 26 — April 1, 2012

April 1

Inves­ti­gated a report of domes­tic vio­lence on N. Main St.

Woman reported that while shop­ping inside Kroger some­one had writ­ten some­thing on trunk of her vehi­cle with per­ma­nent marker.

Man on Lock­wood Court reported an attempted bur­glary. He advised that he had found a bucket below his win­dow out­side and that the screen on the win­dow was bent and broken.

Whilst patrolling on foot an unse­cured door was found on W. Mar­ion Road

An open door was dis­cov­ered on Park Ave., it was secured.

March 31

A fuel drive off was reported at the Duke and Duchess Shoppe.

A salt theft was reported at the Kroger fuel station.

March 30

Checked out a sus­pi­cious vehi­cle on W. High St. A traf­fic stop was imi­tated, noth­ing was found amiss.

Duke sta­tion reported a fuel drive off.

Responded to an alarm drop on Lee St. A key holder arrived and noth­ing appeared out of order.

March 29

Attempted to find a woman who left the hos­pi­tal before being dis­charged, but was unable.

Fuel drive off reported at the Duke Station.

Aided a woman regain entry into her vehi­cle on Mar­ion Rd.

Checked out a report of a man and woman fight­ing on E. Cen­ter St.

March 28

Attempted to serve an active war­rant to per­sons on Lee St.

Woman reported that her husband’s med­ica­tions had been stolen from their res­i­dence on Lee St.

Man reported hear­ing loud sounds, like gun­fire or fire­works, near his home. Offi­cers were unable to find any­thing abnor­mal near Town St.

Responded to a fire alarm on Dou­glas St., it was deter­mined that the alarm was caused by burnt food.

Man reported that his vehi­cle had been dam­aged by build­ing mate­ri­als on W. High St.

Woman was bit by a dog while walk­ing on N. Delaware St.

Man requested civil standby while he retrieved his belong­ings on E. North St.

A gas drive off was reported on W. High St.

Items were reported miss­ing from a class­room on N. Cherry St.

A water main break or leak was reported on N. Delaware St.

Assisted Edi­son P.D with an O.V.I suspect.

March 27

Checked out a reported sus­pi­cious per­son on N. Delaware St., every­thing checked out.

Directed traf­fic around a dis­abled dump truck on W. High St.

Informed a woman liv­ing on S. Delaware St. that she needed to con­tact Card­ing­ton P.D.

March 26

After a report of a rock strik­ing a girl Lee St., a man was informed that he was to no longer have con­tact with the family.

Woman on Lee St. reported that another had taken the tags off her vehi­cle because she claimed she owed her money. The com­plainant was able to prove she owned the vehi­cle and the other woman was ordered to return the tags.

An open door was secured on Buck­eye Lane.

A fuel drive off was reported at Cer­ti­fied. Reg­is­tra­tion was obtained and the the offi­cer spoke with the own­ers of the vehicle.

Assisted the Sheriff’s Office with an attempted vehi­cle theft on Gilead St., Cardington.
