March 26 — April 1, 2012
April 1
Investigated a report of domestic violence on N. Main St.
Woman reported that while shopping inside Kroger someone had written something on trunk of her vehicle with permanent marker.
Man on Lockwood Court reported an attempted burglary. He advised that he had found a bucket below his window outside and that the screen on the window was bent and broken.
Whilst patrolling on foot an unsecured door was found on W. Marion Road
An open door was discovered on Park Ave., it was secured.
March 31
A fuel drive off was reported at the Duke and Duchess Shoppe.
A salt theft was reported at the Kroger fuel station.
March 30
Checked out a suspicious vehicle on W. High St. A traffic stop was imitated, nothing was found amiss.
Duke station reported a fuel drive off.
Responded to an alarm drop on Lee St. A key holder arrived and nothing appeared out of order.
March 29
Attempted to find a woman who left the hospital before being discharged, but was unable.
Fuel drive off reported at the Duke Station.
Aided a woman regain entry into her vehicle on Marion Rd.
Checked out a report of a man and woman fighting on E. Center St.
March 28
Attempted to serve an active warrant to persons on Lee St.
Woman reported that her husband’s medications had been stolen from their residence on Lee St.
Man reported hearing loud sounds, like gunfire or fireworks, near his home. Officers were unable to find anything abnormal near Town St.
Responded to a fire alarm on Douglas St., it was determined that the alarm was caused by burnt food.
Man reported that his vehicle had been damaged by building materials on W. High St.
Woman was bit by a dog while walking on N. Delaware St.
Man requested civil standby while he retrieved his belongings on E. North St.
A gas drive off was reported on W. High St.
Items were reported missing from a classroom on N. Cherry St.
A water main break or leak was reported on N. Delaware St.
Assisted Edison P.D with an O.V.I suspect.
March 27
Checked out a reported suspicious person on N. Delaware St., everything checked out.
Directed traffic around a disabled dump truck on W. High St.
Informed a woman living on S. Delaware St. that she needed to contact Cardington P.D.
March 26
After a report of a rock striking a girl Lee St., a man was informed that he was to no longer have contact with the family.
Woman on Lee St. reported that another had taken the tags off her vehicle because she claimed she owed her money. The complainant was able to prove she owned the vehicle and the other woman was ordered to return the tags.
An open door was secured on Buckeye Lane.
A fuel drive off was reported at Certified. Registration was obtained and the the officer spoke with the owners of the vehicle.
Assisted the Sheriff’s Office with an attempted vehicle theft on Gilead St., Cardington.
