May 16's Letters to the Editor
To the Editor:
I do not know who Ed Nemecheck of Landers, California is or why he chose to write a letter to Our editor. But it is quite apparent that he does not know Our police force.
The police force in California may be trying to disarm it citizens but the Morrow County police force certainly is not. The current federal government is trying to take away our Second Amendment rights, but the Morrow County police force certainly is not. But some of his letter is very true. For instance the part about Hillary Clinton went to the UN in 2009 and told them the United States was “on board” with a Treaty that would restrict the rights the US citizens under the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution to regulate, manufacture, assembly of guns, that part was correct.
In fact, there is a Senate bill, Senate Bill 2205 that would prohibit funds from be obligated or prohibit the US to use its influence in connection with negotiations for a UN Arms Trade Treaty to restrict the rights of US citizens under the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution to regulate manufacture, assembly, possession, use, transfer or purchase of firearms, ammunition or related items. If you want to continue to protect your Second Amendment rights support this Senate Bill; call your senators, Sherrod Brown (202) 224‑2315 (hopefully only until November then it will be Josh Mandel), and RINO Rob Portman (202) 224‑3353; tell them to support Senate Bill 2205. The bill currently is stuck in the Committee on Foreign Relations. Let’s get it moving again. Like everything else since this regime has gotten into office, I suggest we pay attention to what is happening. When they tell us to look at one thing they are doing something underhanded somewhere else. Continued vigilance and voting power in November.
