A Mt. Gilead man was killed in a Memorial Day accident in Greene County just outside Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Jason Mowry, 36, was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson in Gray Township about 6:45 p.m. when he was involved in a three vehicle collison at St. Rt. 21 and Grange Road. Stephanie Merritt, 21, of Holbrook, PA and Adam Pettit, 19, also of Holbrook, were driving the other two vehicles involved. Merritt received minor injuries and Pettit was uninjured.

Details were not released pending an ongoing investigation. On Thursday, a representative from the Pennsylvania State Police in Waynesburg said the accident is being reconstructed due to ‘a lot of contributing factors in this case.’
