Mid-Ohio Bullets win tournament!

The 8-U Mid-Ohio Bul­lets won a tour­na­ment at Upper Arling­ton on June 10–11. In pool play, they split a pair of games, los­ing 18–8 to the Upper Arling­ton Bears and beat­ing the Colum­bus Cobras 19–11. Then, they won all three of their games in the sin­gle elim­i­na­tion tour­na­ment. First, they topped the Jack­son County Bull­dogs 8–7. They would then beat the top-seeded Bears 11–9 and then took a 17–9 win over the second-seeded Olen­tangy War­riors. The team, which fea­tures sev­eral High­land and North­mor boys (as well as ones from Galion and Big Wal­nut), is coached by Travis Church, Mike Reid and Buck Workman.
