Rod ‘N Tiques draws good crowd to car show

The Mor­row County Fair­grounds was the scene of 150–200 cars on dis­play dur­ing the annual Rod ‘N Tiques car Show held Sat­ur­day and Sun­day, June 16–17.

Tro­phies were pre­sented to ten win­ners on Sat­ur­day. They were Michael Cole, 1968 ½ GT Mus­tang; Dar­rell Jen­ner, 1957 Chevro­let; Art and Diana Stiers, 1957 Chevy BelAir; Judy Graves, 1983 Hurst Olds; Mar­vin and DeAnn Mills, 1966 Mus­tang Con­vert­ible; Bill Long, 1968 GTX Ply­mouth; Ron Thomas, 1967 Fire Bird; Chris Grace, 1968 Camaro; David Kahler, 1964 Sport Road­ster T-Bird; “Tank” a 1993 Ford Coupe; and Mike Ten­nar, Trike.

The 50/50 win­ner on Sat­ur­day was DeAnn Mills who won $58.

Win­ners of games played dur­ing the event on Sun­day were Jere­miah Stel­lard who won the Kids for Belt Toss; Jere­miah Sanchez, Kids Toi­let Paper Toss; Doug Mosley, Adult for Belt Toss; and Mike Stuck­man, Adult Toi­let Paper Toss.

Win­ning the Kids Guess­ing game was Lily Gar­ish and Ruth Tidd won the Women’s guess­ing. Art Stiers won the Men’s guessing.

The Rick Mar­tin Memo­r­ial Award was pre­sented to Rich and Linda Shar­rock with their 1967 Camaro RS and Ed and Linda Post won the NSRA Safety Award.

Motor cycle win­ners were Aaron Kem­mer with a 2008 Honda and Brenda Coun­try­man with an ‘85 Trike.
