Heart of Ohio junior golf series nearing end of 2012 season

In the Heart of Ohio’s seventh tournament of their summer series of golf meets, Chris Grady of Marysville claimed his fourth victory in the 16–18 age group with a round of 72.
Michael Powers of Wynford shot 76 to place second and Both Daniel Newell of Upper Sandusky and Mitch Cook of Colonel Crawford shot 77 to tie for third. Gilead Christian’s Jason Zeigler tied for fifth by shooting 78.
With one tournament left on the HOJGA schedule, Grady leads the standings with 117 points, while Powers is second with 107. Newell is third with 74, Cook is fourth with 72 and Zeigler is fifth with 63 points.
Anthony McKee won the 13–15 class with a round of 81. Kyle Gose of Big Walnut and Austin Woodruff of River Valley both shot 84 to tie for second.
Gose leads the standings with 84 points, while Colin Chapman of River Valley had 72. McKee is third with 57, Woodruff has 55 and Alexis Reichardt of River Valley rounds out the top five with 48.
Brett Montgomery of Upper Sandusky tied with Kameron Hall of Grant Middle School by scoring 43 in the 12-and-under class. Montgomery then won the event on the first playoff hole. Max McCloy of Pleasant shot 45 for third place.
