July 25th Letters to the Editor

Dear Sir or Madam:

Regarding the fellow who killed those twelve people, in the Theatre Complex, in Aurora, Colorado. It is my opinion that if the news media would be prohibited from disclosing the name of the Miscreant, which I believe is the major Impetus for these unstable folks to do these outrageous things, it would go a long way to, if not stop such actions, it would certainly curtail them. They could simply refer to them as “The Moron”, or maybe Moron One and Moron Two, if there were more than one. Whomever would disclose the name, should be fined or penalized in some other fashion. It just seems that these incidents and alt of the Publicity they garner, only generates more such incidents and by not identifying the culprits, it would take all of the fun and excitement out of it for them.

Thank You,

Darl A.Mills, Mt. Gilead

Dear Editor,

Here we go again people thinking they can get something for nothing. I guess they are willing to get what they pay for when it comes to heath care but what they will get is to pay an increase in their income tax and I am sure they will enjoy doing that.

People should take a good look at Obama’s health care plan. There was a reason our elected officials in Washington kept telling us we had to wait until they passed it before we could find out what was in it.

Starting 2013 sell your home then pay the government 3.8% of the selling price. Nice way to limit your profit from the sale of your home.

The real winner the 1% on all bank transactions that makes sure everyone get to help pay for the free health care. This dandy little item now allows the government to make money every time we have to use the bank. Of course if you never cash a check, write a check, use a credit card, the bank AMT machine, put money into your savings account, take money out of your savings, or pay your bills then you will never have to pay that 1% fee. Of course the government requires all social security check to be directed deposited so that means government is now writing a check and then put 1% back into their pocket out of the check you were given then another 1% every time need to use that money from that account. What a great racket, charge you for putting money in the bank then charge you every time you use it for something you need, want, or required to pay for. For a low-income person to say they are getting free health care they are not because they are paying through other form of new taxes to support the free health care.

A few weeks ago a person wrote that to think the government was coming after our guns was nothing more than a scare tactic. Well guess what, in a few days our Secretary Of State Clinton will sign a treaty coming out of the UN that will require every citizen the United States to register all their firearms they own with the United States Government. Harry Reid can and will prevent the treaty from being ratified by a vote of the senate by keeping it from coming to the floor of the senate for a vote leaving only the president to stop the treaty from going into effect. Sure bet that our president who wants to take our firearms away from us is not going to do anything to prevent the treaty from going into effect

Bottom line anyone thinking the health care is free and our firearms are safe had better wake up to the true facts before it is to late.
