Lee G. Wheeler
Lee G. Wheeler, 87, died Aug. 9, 2012, at Atlantic Healthcare Center, Vera Beach.
She was born in Roxana, Del., and lived in Vera Beach for 33 years coming from Mount Gilead, Ohio. She owned and operated the Union Store in Mount Gilead before her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church and the Indian River Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, David Wheeler of Bellville, Ohio; daughter, Sue Wheeler of Vero Beach; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Scott Wheeler.
At the family’s request there are no services scheduled at this time. Interment will be in Rivercliff Cemetery, Mount Gilead. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Vera Beach. A guestbook is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com.
