Shelley L. Jividen

Shel­ley L. Jiv­i­den went to be with her Lord and Sav­ior on Fri­day, August 24, 2012 at the age of 45.

Shel­ley was born in Mt. Gilead on Sep­tem­ber 8, 1966 to George W. and the late Yvonne K. (Somer­lot) Jiv­i­den. She was edu­cated in Card­ing­ton and grad­u­ated from there in the class of 1984.

Shel­ley loved to read her Bible and drew strength from her rela­tion­ship with Jesus and found com­fort in the Word. She attended the Upper Room Church in Card­ing­ton. Shel­ley also enjoyed cook­ing and sewing, along with jour­nal­ing. Her real joy was found in her fam­ily. She was a lov­ing and car­ing mother who was always there for her chil­dren and she espe­cially loved those spe­cial times that she shared with her grandchildren.

She will be remem­bered by her two chil­dren: Julie Y. & Shan­non Green and John & Mary Fox; her grand­chil­dren: Bray­don Fox, Elliot and Shealyn Green; her broth­ers: George and Kevin Jiv­i­den; and her father and step mother George and Martha Jividen.

She was pre­ceded in death by her beloved mother Yvonne K. Jividen.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be held on Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 1, 2012 at the Sny­der Funeral Home, 76 S. Main Street, Mt. Gilead, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Funeral ser­vices will imme­di­ately fol­low at 1 pm. Bur­ial will be in the St. John Wind­fall Cemetery.
