Court selected for Cardington's homecoming Friday

The Cardington-Lincoln High School Home­com­ing cer­e­mony will be held Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 14, at 6:30 pm in the Fisher foot­ball sta­dium. The cer­e­mony will pre­cede the foot­ball game when the Pirates host Buck­eye Valley.

The Cardington-Lincoln High School home­com­ing court for 2012 is: Back row (l-r): Katie Spargo, junior atten­dant; Esther Elliott, Sopho­more atten­dant; and Tiara Sny­der, fresh­man atten­dant. Seated are the queen can­di­dates (l-r): seniors Leah Doubikin, Austin Elliott and Sid­ney Sites.

Queen can­di­dates are Leah Doubikin, Austin Elliott and Sid­ney Sites, all seniors. Atten­dants are Tiara Sny­der, fresh­man; Esther Elliott, sopho­more and Katie Spargo, junior.

Junior court atten­dants are first grade stu­dents Kyra Morris-Montgomery, daugh­ter of James and Kim­berly Morris-Montgomery; Ash­ley Fos­ter, daugh­ter of Tim and Terri Fos­ter and Parker Delawder, son of Jeff and Heather Delawder.

Crown­ing the new king and queen will be the 2011 king and queen Caleb Mar­tin and Ellie Perry.

A dance will be held in the high school cafe­te­ria from 9 to 11:30 pm fol­low­ing the game. Dress is casual or infor­mal. Admis­sion is $3 per per­son. DJ will be Ron Choina with Audio Rush Entertainment.

Spon­sor­ing the king and queen cer­e­mony and the dance is the stu­dent coun­cil, Jada Urquhart, advisor.
