Highland seeks school board candidates

The High­land Local School Dis­trict is seek­ing can­di­dates for an open seat on the HLSD Board of Edu­ca­tion. This seat will com­plete a term expir­ing in 2013.

This indi­vid­ual will be eli­gi­ble and encour­aged to apply for re-election in the Novem­ber 2013 elec­tion for another four year term. Inter­ested appli­cants may hand deliver a let­ter of inter­est to the HLSD office on or before Sep­tem­ber 14, 2012 and speak pub­licly about their intent at the board meet­ing on Fri­day, Sep­tem­ber 14 at 4:30 p.m.

The Board of Edu­ca­tion will select can­di­dates to inter­view and make a selec­tion to fill the posi­tions within 30 days of the offi­cial opening.
