Johnsville Community Day coming Saturday

The Johnsville Com­mu­nity Day will be held Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 15 from 3 pm to 7 pm in Johnsville at the Perry Cook Memo­r­ial Library and Johnsville Men­non­ite Church park­ing lots on County Road 242.

Park­ing for the event is also free and will be at the Methodist church and old Johnsville Ele­men­tary school park­ing lots. Hand­i­capped park­ing avail­able on 242 by the Library.

There will be a hog roast hosted by the Johnsville Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment (cost of meal is by dona­tion), free kids games and activ­i­ties, a quilt raf­fle, silent auc­tion, art show, and live music by the Oolong Gurus band. The library will also be open. The event will be held rain or shine.
