Nancy L. Shropshire

Nancy L. Shrop­shire, 70, Card­ing­ton and for­merly of Toledo, passed away Fri­day Sep­tem­ber 14, 2012, sur­rounded by her lov­ing family.

Nancy was born in Toledo, OH on July 21, 1942, to Carl and Desdy P. (Love) John­son and is pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; hus­band, James Lee Shrop­shire; brother, Danny John­son; sis­ter, Jean Tuss­ing; step-mother, Mona Wilson.

Sur­vivors include her daugh­ters, Pam Shrop­shire and Kim (Har­vey) Smith; son, Frank “Jim” (Tina) Shrop­shire; broth­ers, Rus­sell (Sonja) John­son, Don Hales, Ernie (San­dra) Porter, Andy Porter; grand­chil­dren, Amber, Justin, Wes, Damian, Brit­tany, Shane, Stacey; great-grandchildren, Max, Miles, Ayden, Bray­den, Chance; spe­cial friend, Mike Kingery and his daugh­ter, Jaylin; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be held on Tues­day, Sep­tem­ber 18, 2012, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at New­comer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, OH 43623 with the Funeral Ser­vice at 1:00 p.m. Inter­ment will fol­low at His­toric Wood­lawn Ceme­tery, Toledo, OH.

Addi­tion­ally a Memo­r­ial Ser­vice will be held in Mor­row County at a later date and will be announced in the Colum­bus Dis­patch and the Mor­row County Sen­tinel. Mes­sages of con­do­lence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
