Briar Patch in Mt. Gilead reopens
By Randa Wagner -
Just in time for the upcoming holidays, the Briar Patch gift shop in Mt. Gilead has reopened.
Owner Kellie Howard says they have repainted, including some burlap on the walls, changed the floor plan, and rented out spaces in the shop for new vendors. One vendor features more primitive pieces and one features antiques.
“We’ve been selling a lot of Christmas and holiday items already,” Howard notes. The miniature ‘willow’ branch trees has been selling quickly as well.
The Briar Patch, located at 42 S. Main Street, is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. — 6 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. — 5 p.m.; and closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
