Annual C-L McStaff night raises funds for Fall festival
By Evelyn Long –
It was Cardington-Lincoln McStaff Night at McDonald’s Restaurant, Mount Gilead, when staff members from the Junior High School helped served up food to customers Thursday, October 18.
Faculty members and staff including Principal Joe Mills helped to serve customers in the dining room and from the drive through window. Some worked behind the counter.
Angie Crissinger, faculty member who organized the evening, said the proceeds of $270.00 will help fund the junior high school Fall Festival after school on Thursday, October 25. An additional sum of $70 in tips was donated to a Cardington-Lincoln seventh grade student who is recovering from a stroke in a Columbus hospital.
Chad Hobbs, manager of the McDonald’s Restaurant, said “As always we were happy to partner with the district and we look forward to more fund raising nights with them.”
