Centerburg man killed in fatal crash in Peru Twp.
A 51-yr-old Centerburg man was killed in a motorcycle accident at 8:05 p.m. Saturday in Peru Township.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Robert Tomlin was northbound on County Road 24 on a 1994 Harley Davidson when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and drove off the right side of the road. The motorcycle overturned, ejecting Tomlin, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the Morrow County coroner.
Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash and Tomlin was not wearing a helmet.
