Word Of Life Lutheran Church to hold Thanksgiving Eve Service

Word Of Life Lutheran Church invites all inter­ested per­sons to attend our annual Thanks­giv­ing Eve Ser­vice, Novem­ber 21st at 7 p.m.

The ser­vice takes its title from the well-known hymn, “We Gather Together.” In addi­tion to this hymn the ser­vice includes other hymns of Thanks­giv­ing, “Count Your Bless­ings,” ” Come You Thank­ful Peo­ple, Come,” and “Now Thank We All Our God.”

Pas­tor Kelly will speak on the theme, “It Is a Good Thing to Give Thanks” based on Psalm 92:1–5.

The spe­cial fea­ture of our Ser­vice will include the gath­er­ing of var­i­ous canned food items, boxed Cere­als, Mac­a­roni & Cheese, etc. for a local food pantry. The church is located in the Gilead Chris­t­ian School Gym at 220 S. Main St., Mt. Gilead.
