The annual Christmas in the Village is Friday and Saturday, December 7 and 8 this year.

DON’T MISS OUT ON: Train Rides, Turkey Bowling, Wagon Rides, Ice Carving, Reindeer, Food & Vendors! The Community Center will have an Open House from 1 — 3 p.m., a Christmas Craft for the first 50 children as well as a 50/50 raffle.
The Morrow Little Theatre will have a show at Trinity UMC 75 East High St. Mount Gilead. Dinner at 6:30 p.m and show at 7. Tickets for show and dinner are $12 for adults and $9 for Sr. Citizens and Students. Show ONLY tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for Sr / St. MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR DINNER NO LATER THAN WED. DEC 5! Also, the CIC class at Trinity will have a silent auction of gift baskets at intermission as a way of raising funds to help needy families in our area. LOTS of reasons to join us. The Park Avenue PTO Santa Secret Shop is planned for December 8 from noon – 5 pm. It will be held at the old Bowen Jewelers building. Parents, bring your little ones and have them shop for gifts for all the special people in their lives. Gifts priced from $.25 to $15.00.
The Morrow County Historical Society Museum (Cross House) will be open on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a special display of “Dolls Through the Decades”, with a representation of how dolls have changed for each generation. A large Victorian dollhouse will be featured on display, along with a variety of ‘dolls through the decades.’
The Museum is located at 85 East Marion Street in Mount Gilead, and admission is free.
Holiday Home Tour — The Mt. Gilead Kiwanis Club is hosting a Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1–5 p.m. to benefit community service projects. The cost of the tour is $10 per person and includes five homes in Mt. Gilead that will be decorated for the holiday season. Tickets are being sold by Kiwanis members and at First Federal Bank of Ohio in Mt. Gilead, First Knox National Bank, and Sames & Cook. The tour starts at the Morrow County Emergency Services Building, 140 S. Main St., the day of the tour, where tickets will be available. A holiday raffle will also be held.
