1/20/13

10:19 p.m– A woman parked in the Drug Mart park­ing lot over an extended period of time explained that she was wait­ing on her boyfriend to leave work at Kroger.

9:51 p.m– While patrolling on foot, an entrance to a busi­ness was found improp­erly secured on S. Main St. Every­thing appeared ok and the entrance was secured.

5:51 p.m– Inves­ti­gated an alarm drop on Bank St. The alarm com­pany reported the call false.

4:19 p.m– Cited and released a man on W. Mar­ion Rd. for dri­ving under suspension.

4 p.m– A fuel theft was reported by Duke staff.

8:57 a.m– Moved a trash can out of the road­way on Town St.

7:32 a.m– Moved a trash can lid out of the road­way on S. Cherry St.

3:08 a.m– While patrolling on foot, an entrance was found improp­erly secured on W. Mar­ion Rd. The door was secured.

2:22 p.m– Arrested a man on S. Main St. on an active war­rant out of Mor­row County.

1:19 p.m– Attempted to assist hos­pi­tal staff with a patient who refused to return to his room. Because the patient was not caus­ing any issues sit­ting in the lobby, the offi­cer was unable to do anything.

12:37 p.m– While going to con­duct a well being check on S. Delaware St., the offi­cer was advised that con­tact was made with the subject.

9:53 a.m– A large amount of trash located in the road­way on Park Ave. was cleared by an officer.

8:42 a.m– On N. Delaware St. the offi­cer removed a trash can from the roadway.

7:06 a.m– Alerted Time Warner Cable that a cable line was hang­ing down on Maple St.

5:21 a.m– Cited and released a man on S. Main St. for dri­ving under suspension.

2:56 a.m– At the inter­sec­tion of E. Mar­ion and E. Cen­ter Streets a trash can that was lying in the mid­dle of the road was removed.

1:48 a.m– The garage door of a busi­ness on N. Main St. was secured after being found empty.

7:25 p.m– A woman was arrested for theft on W. Mar­ion Rd.

8:49 p.m– A man was cited for no oper­a­tors license on W. Mar­ion Rd.

2:10 p.m– Attempted to locate a truck involved in a hit skip in Edi­son with neg­a­tive find.

10:19 a.m– Aided a motorist on S. Delaware St. who had locked his keys inside of his vehicle.

1:55 p.m– On Lee St. a theft of drugs was reported.

11:04 a.m– Checked out a non injury acci­dent on E. Mar­ion St.

1:35 a.m– Cited and released a man on W. Mar­ion Rd. for dri­ving under suspension.

5:29 p.m– A woman on Dou­glas St. reported that her neigh­bors tele­vi­sion was turned up to an unpleas­antly high vol­ume. The neigh­bor was advised to keep the vol­ume down.

3:25 p.m– Assisted a woman on Mar­ion Rd. who locked her keys inside of her vehicle.

1:45 p.m– Deliv­ered a mes­sage on behalf of dis­patch on E. North St.

8:29 a.m– Assisted the squad with a patient on S. Main St.

3 a.m– Aided EMS on S. Delaware St. with a patient.

6:04 p.m– On Cen­ter St. assisted fire con­trol with an elderly lady who was locked out of her home. She was later taken to the hos­pi­tal due to her time spent in the cold.

8:08 p.m– Pro­vided assis­tance to a motorist on Chartwell St. who locked their keys inside of their vehicle.

6:31 a.m– Cited and released a man on S. Main St. for dri­ving under sus­pen­sion and one brake light.

12:20 a.m– On Lee St. cited and released a man for dri­ving under sus­pen­sion and no tail lights.

1/15/13

8:30 p.m– Duke staff reported a gaso­line drive off.

5:18 p.m– Checked and secured an open door on Neal Ave.

2:15 p.m– A woman on S. Delaware St. reported that her upstairs neigh­bors were behav­ing badly and had come into her apart­ment uninvited.

11:51 a.m– A theft from a build­ing on Neal Ave. was reported.

9:10 a.m– On West­view Dr. a caller reported being the vic­tim of an Inter­net scam.

3:37 a.m– Assisted the squad with a patient on S. Delaware St.

3:17 a.m– Exces­sive noise was reported on S. Delaware St. The accused offender was advised to keep the vol­ume down.

1:37 a.m– Neigh­bors reported that their neigh­bor on S. Delaware St. was lis­ten­ing to their radio at an exces­sive volume.

1:16 a.m– Assisted a Sheriff’s Deputy with a report of the sound of gun fire or explo­sives on Co. Rd. 224.

12:27 a.m– The offi­cer made con­tact with a man walk­ing on E. High St. The man said he was walk­ing to his girl­friends house and that he has an active active arrest war­rant. The offi­cer checked with dis­patch who advised that he did not have any warrants.

1/14/13

3:30 p.m– A woman on N. Vine St. reported hav­ing a cus­tody issue with her ex husband.

1:57 p.m– On Mar­ion Rd. a man liv­ing in an apart­ment com­plex reported that his neigh­bor was once again caus­ing prob­lems and mak­ing threats. Upon arrival the neigh­bor was wit­nessed shout­ing and mak­ing chal­lenges. The man was taken into cus­tody for dis­or­derly conduct.

1:04 p.m– Phar­macy staff on Mar­ion Rd. reported that they believed a woman had taken a pre­scrip­tion with­out paying.

12:47 p.m– Pro­vided assis­tance to a motorist on Mar­ion Rd. who was unable to gain entry to their vehicle.

7:17 a.m– A busi­ness on Office Park Dr. reported that one of their trucks had been vandalized.

6:15 a.m– Assisted the High­way Patrol on U.S 42 with traf­fic con­trol due to a crash.

5:27 a.m– Made con­tact with a vehi­cle sit­ting in the school park­ing lot on S. Main St. The dri­ver advised that the vehi­cle was dis­abled and he was wait­ing for a tow truck.

12:14 a.m– Aided the squad on Dou­glas St.
