Four now indicted in home invasion

Fri­day, Feb. 15, 2013 — Another sus­pect has been named in con­nec­tion with the Feb­ru­ary 2 home inva­sion on County Road 169 in Mor­row County.

Four indict­ments were issued by the Grand Jury today, to include:

Amber Felt­ner, charged with one count of com­plic­ity to aggra­vated bur­glary, one count of com­plic­ity to aggra­vated rob­bery, three counts of com­plic­ity to kid­nap­ping, and one count of com­plic­ity to theft of drugs.

Edmund Shaw, II faces seven felony charges: one count of aggra­vated bur­glary with firearms spec­i­fi­ca­tions, one count of aggra­vated rob­bery with firearms spec­i­fi­ca­tions, three counts of kid­nap­ping with firearms spec­i­fi­ca­tions, one count theft of drugs, and one count of hav­ing weapons under a dis­abil­ity. Shaw, 50, of Mt. Gilead, is being held on a $100,000 bond.

spec­i­fi­ca­tions, three counts of kid­nap­ping with firearms spec­i­fi­ca­tions, one count theft of drugs, and one count of hav­ing weapons under dis­abil­ity. Beach, 24, of Mt. Gilead, is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Tyler Shad­wick, 25, of Mt. Gilead, has been charged with one count of com­plic­ity to aggra­vated bur­glary, one count of com­plic­ity to aggra­vated rob­bery, three counts of com­plic­ity to kid­nap­ping, and one count of com­plic­ity to theft of drugs.

The home inva­sion occurred in the 2700 block of County Road 169 in Lin­coln Twp about 8 p.m on Sat­ur­day, Feb­ru­ary 2.

The vic­tim, who was not injured in the inci­dent, said the sus­pects were wear­ing ski masks and car­ry­ing a shot­gun when they broke into his res­i­dence. He said he was bound by the sus­pects, who stole var­i­ous items, then fled in a wait­ing vehi­cle. The vic­tim gave chase in his vehi­cle after he freed him­self, and rammed the sus­pects’ vehi­cle, forc­ing it off the road­way at the inter­sec­tion of CR 161 and State Route 61.

The inves­ti­ga­tion is ongo­ing with the Mor­row County Sheriff’s Office.
