A deer/vehicle accident Wednesday evening injured a driver and killed the deer.

At approximately 6:25 pm November 27, a gold Chrysler minivan was eastbound on State Route 42 when it struck a deer in the 5500 block. The vehicle swerved off of the right side of the roadway, where it rolled and ended upright, facing the opposite direction.

The female driver was transported to Morrow County Hospital.

Mount Gilead Fire Department, Morrow County EMS and the OSHP responded to the scene. The accident is under investigation by the OSHP and more information will be posted when it becomes avaiable.
