Tomorrow Center Board holds November Meeting

The Tomorrow Center Board met in regular session on Monday November 18, 2012.

Treasurer Trevor Gummere reported that financially Director Seckel is on pace to out perform prior years which is a “positive event.”

The board approved the invoice for services for Ginny Kuck for school psychological services retroactive to August of 2013.

The board revised the absence policy to clearly define that the number of unexcused absences allowable is four in a trimester, then a doctors excuse is needed for any additional days.

Race to the Top Update: Director Seckel shared that the funds have been divided equally for professional development. Using half will be used to send staff for professional development the other half will be used to have professional development people to come to the Tomorrow Center.

School Improvement Grant Update: Director Seckel reported that they doing very well. There are some allocated funds that they are looking at closely to see what they can and can not use the funds for.

Ohio Improvement Process Review: Director Seckel reported that audit came back very good.

The next regular board meeting will be held on December 16, 2013.
