Budding new artists, their families, friends and members of the community gathered at Cellar Studios Ink on West High Street Saturday December 14 for “Through the Eyes of a Child” Art Show.”

The show was for children ages 10 years old and younger. All of the county schools were invited to participate; however, a majority of the entrees were from Highland Elementary.

Their art work was framed and displayed prominently at the studio with professional lighting. A variety of mediums were used.

The artists beamed with pride as attendees complimented their efforts.

Each young artist was given a set of professional art crayons from Cellar Studios Ink owner and Art League president Jim Fleeson. “I want to encourage the children to continue to develop their talent.” He said.

The Morrow County Art League meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Cellar Studios Ink.
