1:24 a.m. Removed a shopping cart from Save A Lot store from the roadway. Scene was cleared.
7:10 a.m. While traveling Westbound on W High Street , was flagged down by the owner of a vehicle who stated his vehicle was on fire. Controlled traffic and removed the fire extinguisher from the Patrol car and handed to the driver of the car and the fire was quickly extinguished.
8:30 a.m. Assisted Bucyrus Police Dept. K9 unit and Mansfield police Dept. k9 units drug sweep of Bucyrus High School.
9:15 a.m. Assisted Crawford Co Sheriff’s office with Bucyrus Police Dept. K9 unit and Mansfield Police Dept. K9 units drug sweep of Wynford High School.
12:28 a.m. Complainant requested a civil stand by in the 4oo block of Lee St. while her ex-boyfriend retrieved some items. Stood by while he gathered the property and left with out issues.
1:16 a.m. Arrest made for O.V.I., Left of center and Possession of Marijuana.
1:41 p.m. Union Co. requested we speak to a residence about his vehicle being parked in a parking lot in their jurisdiction. Contacted with the vehicle’s owner’s mother and was informed the engine blew and have not had a chance to move it yet.
3:11 p.m. The complainant reported that there was an elderly male at Dollar General that seemed to be lost. The man explained he was lost and trying to find his way back home to Columbus. A customer lead him South on State Rt. 61 toward Interstate 71.
3:30 p.m. Fire Control advised of a 911 hang up call in the block of 200 W. High St.. The dispatcher advised a young child could be heard in the background. Made contact and was advised there was no problem.
7:07 p.m. The complainant contacted the station to advise a goat was in her front porch on Fairway Lane. The goat had a yellow ear tag and seemed to be lost. Made contact with the dog warden and took the goat to the warden where the goat was put in a stall.
1:40 a.m. Observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road on N Main St, had Ohio registration plate, checked the vehicle which appeared it had been parked for sometime, cleared the scene.
2:06 p.m. Located a disabled vehicle on Main St. with assistance from a citizen, the vehicle was to a a parking space.
10:57 p.m. Assisted E.M.s. 9 on a fall with injuries on S. Main St. Patient was transported to M.C.H.
2:59 a.m. Located an open door at the Morrow County Comm. Center, searched and secured.
7:22 a.m. Cited and released a suspect for driving under suspension.
5:30 p.m. Arrested suspect on an active Morrow Co warrant.
6:20 p.m. Complainant contacted the station to advise that his girlfriend’s father threatened him. Contacted the girlfriend’s father who stated the complainant threatened him first. Advised both parties to have no contact with each other or harassment charges will be filed.
8:34 p.m. Complainant contacted the station to advise his son had not returned home from Marion. Was advised that his son is 16 and his probation requires him to be home at 9 p.m. M.C.S.O. made contact with Probation Officer who stated she would talk to the son. Call record was completed.
8:35 a.m. Assisted motorist in the 400 block of Lee St, Entry gained without damaged to a locked vehicle.
10:05 a.m. Complainant reported a Shoplifter at Family Dollar, in which the shoplifter was issued a summons for theft.
11:56 a.m. Complainant reported a Shoplifter at Discount Drug Mart, in which shoplifter was arrested on a warrant and theft charges.
8:57 p.m. Pharmacist at Rite Aid reported a customer was harassing her. The pharmacist could not fill the customer prescription due to the fact that one of them was not due yet. Customer became angry and starting calling names and making other accusations. She left the store and then came back and started arguing and making more of the same accusations. The Pharmacist gave back all three of her prescriptions and told her to the leave the store. She was told she was no longer allowed into Rite Aid and to find another Pharmacy. The customer left but later called the Pharmacy and accused the Pharmacist of keeping one of her prescriptions. The customer accused the Pharmacist and threatened to call the police. The Pharmacist hung up and called to report the incident. She was advised if the woman returns to the store to call the police and have her escorted from the property and trespassed.
9:45 a.m. Complainant advised her vehicle was parked at Discount Drug Mart and after returning to her vehicle the next day she found her vehicle had been struck on the right front corner. A witness advised a black or dark blue vehicle struck the complainants vehicle and left. The witness gave a license plate number, however the complainant was unable to provide the witnesses name or contact information. Advised the complainant an attempt would be made to locate the other vehicle and to document the information provided.
11:49 a.m. Complainant was traveling eastbound on W. Marion St. and a second vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of the complainant.
1:45 p.m. Complainant had money taken from her wallet at M.C.H.
11:54 p.m. The complainant reported money was stolen from him on S. Rich St.
9:38 p.m. Motorist reported a traffic crash just south of the village limits on State Rt. 61. Vehicle was in the ditch, driver was fine and stated she simply lost control of the vehicle. Dispatcher advised the Ohio State Highway Patrol of the accident and remained on scene until the trooper arrived.
1:17 p.m. While on patrol a trash can was removed from the roadway on N. Delaware St.
6:29 a.m. While on patrol a tire was removed the roadway at the square.
11:40 a.m. Dispatch advised of an alarm at Duke on W. High St. and determined it was not that Duke, it was the Cardington location.
2:08 p.m. Dispatch received a report of two trucks traveling north through the village on S. Main St. and were pulling trailers that were loaded with scrap metal and had been dropping pieces along the roadway. Stopped the trucks and instructed one of them to retrieve the scrap pieces and make sure it is better secured.
7:35 p.m. Assisted a motorist in attempting to unlock the doors to retrieve his keys, the battery was dead and automatic door locks did not work, was unsuccessful without damage.
12:55 a.m. Located and arrested on active felony warrant out of morrow co on W. Union St.
3:22 a.m. Assisted the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office by administering a breath test to an O.V.I. suspect.
8:00 a.m. Someone overnight someone entered Hoffman Office Center and stole some items.
9:40 a.m. Sometime overnight someone attempted to force entry in to Joe’s Hardware.
5:40 p.m. Investigated a report of a runaway juvenile on E. North St.
6:02 p.m. The complainant reported a suspicious male subject came to her door that was attempting to sell her some floor cleaning product. She stated he was not acting right, description of a Hispanic looking male wearing a black and gray sweatshirt. Arrived in the area of Lincoln Ave and located a male matching that description along with another male. While talking to the two males, was advised that they worked for Kirby and were attempting to sell their product and was provided with information along with their bosses information. The boss advised me that he did not have a permit but stated he will have them leave and will obtain a permit. The two males left.
1:48 a.m. Assisted the operator of a disabled vehicle in pushing the vehicle into the Merchant Mall parking lot.
8:55 a.m. Noticed what appeared to be a sinkhole forming on 300 block of East side of N. Main St.. The village administrator was contacted and the County garage in which the Street Dept. placed cones around the area.
5:00 p.m. Dispatch advised of an alarm drop on W. Marion Rd. and found the cleaning crew had activated the alarm. Searched the building and found nothing out of place, cleared the scene without incident.
6:31 p.m. Drug Mart manager called to report a theft and asked for an officer. Upon arrival the manager stated he believed the theft to be an accident and misunderstanding and did not wish to press criminal charges. A verbal criminal trespass warning was issued.
7:12 p.m. Dispatched to the 200 block of W. High St. on threats and harassment. The complainant wanted documentation of his ex-wife’s boyfriend threats because he was suppose to pick up his daughter the next day in case an issue would arise.
12:01 a.m. The fire dept. requested assistance at the 300 block of N. main St. in reference to a fallen tree and down power lines. N. Main Street was closed between Park Ave. and Road 145 until the village street dept. arrived with barricades.
3:45 a.m. The complainant reported a semi blocking Road 145 at N. Main St. The Ohio State Highway was already on scene and advised that a tow truck was en route to remove it.
6:00 a.m. A small limb was removed on W. Elm St.
6:04 a.m. Removed a trash control in the 100 block of N. Cherry St.
10:57 a.m. Fire Control received a complainant of lines down on N. Delaware St at Grant St. The lines were cable television and was removed from the roadway by the fire department. A resident stated a commercial vehicle was traveling on the street and snagged the cable.
11:28 p.m. Complainant reported that her boyfriend was intoxicated and that they had gotten into an argument. She stated that he spit in her face and then fled out the back door. Located foot prints that had entered the wooded area and with assistance followed the foot prints into a field. Tracked them for a short while but unable to find the boyfriend. The complainant stated she did not wish to pursue charges and only want the boyfriend gone. She stated that he does not reside at the residence.
1:38 a.m. Responded to domestic dispute at the 200 block of W. High St., the complainant left the residence indefinitely and arrested the other party on an active warrant out of Marion County.
4:14 a.m. Observed a suspicious white Oldsmobile parked at the Board of Education building, made contact with a male inside the building who was determined to be a custodian.
5:30 a.m. Dispatch advised of an occupied structure fire on Rd 124. Morrow Co Sheriff’s office requested assistance due to being out on an injury crash. Everyone had made it out of the residence okay.
12:00 p.m. Probation requested assistance in gaining entry to a vehicle. Entry was gained without damage.
12:40 p.m. Assisted motorist in gaining entry to her vehicle. Gained entry without damage.
10:03 p.m. Assisted motorist with entry to his vehicle. Gained entry without damage.
3:22 a.m. Observed a male walking on E. High St., stopped and spoke with the male who stated his vehicle had broken down and he walking home. He declined a ride to his residence.
5:30 a.m. Observed a male walking in the roadway on W. Marion St. near the intersection of Arnold Lane. Advised that he was from his work to a friend’s house on Rich St. to try and get a ride home. He declined a ride to the residence on Rich St.
6:02 a.m. Cited and released for driving under suspension and expired registration on W. Marion Rd.
8:50 a.m. The owner of Radio Shack reported a theft of money. They did not wish to pursue charges at this point but wanted the incident documented in case they wish to be file charges in the future.
6:00 p.m. A man called to report that his estranged girlfriend had damaged a coffee mug, poured Kool-Aid all over the kitchen floor and an unknown liquid on his wall. He stated she had moved her belongings out of his home three weeks ago but he allowed her to stay at the house for the night in the 300 block of W. High St. He did not want to press charges but asked that she be advised she was no longer welcome in his home. An attempt was mailed unsuccessful but a voice mail was left for her.
7:42 p.m. A report of $130 came up missing from a woman’s wallet on W. Marion Rd. Incident was documented.
8:18 a.m. Assisted Squad #1 with a female who had fallen on W. High St. She was transported to the hospital by squad.
11:02 a.m. The complainant called and report that a male was at her residence on Lincoln Ave. and refused to leave. He explained he was there to pick up his son for visitation and the complainant was refusing to allow his visitation. He explained that he was staying there until the police arrived so it could be documented that he was there to pick up his child.
1:18 p.m. Provided traffic control for a disabled vehicle until the operator and friends we bale to remove from State Rt. 61.
3:00 p.m. The complainant was stopped in traffic on W. High St. when the operator of another vehicle failed to stop and struck the complainant’s vehicle in the rear.
