Highland opened their week with a dominating 69-39 win over East Knox in a non-league contest last Monday.
The Scots jumped out to a 20-2 lead after eight minutes of play and continued to pour it on.
They outscored the Bulldogs 26-11 in the second quarter and 16-10 in the third to increase their lead to a 62-23 margin. While East Knox took the fourth quarter 16-9, they were unable to get back into the game.
Jett Swetland scored 23 for the Scots, while Curtis Belcher added 16. Both Nathan Hilborn and Ryan Burt picked up nine, with Hilborn hitting three three-pointers. Also, Dylan Casteel scored eight.
Northmor fell on Saturday to Ridgedale by a 63-50 margin in a home contest.
The Rockets led 16-12 after the first quarter, but Northmor got within a 28-26 margin by the half.
Ridgedale would increase their lead to 46-40 in the fourth quarter, though, and then outscored Northmor 17-10 in the fourth to clinch the win.
Daniel Donner led the Knights with 18 points, while James Donner finished with 10. Kyle Johnson added nine.
Mount Gilead Indians
One point kept the Mount Gilead Indians from at least forcing an extra period at Fredericktown on Saturday.
In their 37-36 loss to the Freddies, the Indians were outscored 11-10 in the final period to break a tied game.
Fredericktown led 9-6 after the opening period and 18-14 at the half, but Mount Gilead took the third period 12-8 to tie things up at 26.
Xavier Harris had a huge game for the Indians in defeat, finishing with 22 points and eight boards.
