Cardington FFA adopts family for Christmas

The Cardington FFA purchased gifts to be donated for Christmas to different families. People in the community and from other fund raisers purchased toys, clothing and food for families in the local community that needed an extra boost during the holiday season. The chapter took a crew of volunteers to shop at Wal-Mart for gifts for the families and a few days before the delivery date, the AG classes wrapped all of the gifts that were purchased and donated.

Accompanying all of the delivery helpers was Santa Claus (AKA Nick Fisher and Josh Kill), who visited each family. This made the trip even more memorable for the children. The experience of giving during the holiday season was one that the Cardington students will not forget. The activity was enjoyable for the helpers and receivers. Thanks once again to everyone who made donations for this activity.
