The Happy Wanderers are kicking off the 2014 tour season with a trip to LaComedia Dinner Theater Thursday, February 20. This will be a matinee performance of “Ring of Fire.” It is a journey into the heart and heartland of America, courtesy of the “Man in Black,” Johnny Cash. Without impersonation but rather through words and music, “Ring of Fire,” brings to life the stories made famous in Cash’s songs, songs about love and loss, success and failure, faith and redemption.
There will be two overnight trips this year, the first is scheduled for April 29-May 1 for a visit to Sight and Sounds Theater in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This year the presentation is “Moses,” the most challenging technical program presented there. The second overnight trip is slated for September 22- 25 to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to the National Southern Gospel Quartet Convention. There are side trips included in both packages.
Anyone is welcome to become a Happy Wanderer. For further information or to make reservations, call 419-864-7520.
