JOG students take annual ‘lights’ trip

February 11, 2014

Northmor JOG students took a trip to visit the Columbus Zoo in December. It is their annual trip to see the lights, which is a reward for service projects that students provide for the community year round.

Some of their service projects are cleaning at the Ronald McDonald House, raising money for families at the Ronald McDonald House, Haunted Trails, clean up at Camp Mary Orton and the food drive for Jobs and Family Service.

We had great weather to see the animals and to look at all the Christmas lights. The JOG students zoo trip was free as the students applied for a zoo grant which paid for their admission fees and transportation.
