Feb. 21, 2014 - A male driver escaped injury Friday afternoon following a one-car rollover accident in Washington Township.
Emergency crews responded to the 7000 block of County Road 9 at approximately 1:45 pm Friday on a report of a motor vehicle on its top with someone still inside.
The driver was traveling northbound on CR 9 when the blue Plymouth Neon he was driving hit a pothole. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, veering off to the right side of the road striking a ditch, causing it to flip over onto its roof. Crews from Morrow County EMS, Mt. Gilead Fire Department, Morrow County Sheriff’s Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
No passengers were in the vehicle.
The accident is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 59.
