Kyle Minyo received a round of applause from the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce as he accepted the March Student of the Month Award sponsored by Consolidated Electric Cooperative, Inc. The award was presented by Robert Jenkins of Consolidated Electric. Kyle’s grandparents Dick and Diane Shock and Highland Principal, Nate Huffman were also at the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon meeting to see Kyle accept the award.
The Highland High School Senior has a distinguished record as both a scholar and athlete. He has been on the Highland honor roll for four years and has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past three years. He has served on the Student Council and has been an FFA member. He was elected to be a member of the All Ohio Football team as well as First Team MOAC Conference Football Team. He has also been on the basketball and track team at Highland for four years.
Highland Principal, Nate Huffman expressed his pride in Kyle’s accomplishments and noted that Kyle will be attending Otterbein College next fall and plans to major in Physics and play football there.
