The Regional Planning Commission Executive Committee canceled the March 26, 2014 meeting as there were no items on the agenda.
However, in a message sent to RPC members, Chairman Jennifer Williams announced that she was resigning from the Planning Commission effective March 31, 2014. Williams is the Lincoln Township representative to the planning commission.
Williams also announced that RPC member Bill Kreeger has requested from the Morrow County Commissioners to not reappoint him at the end of his term. Kreeger is an at large member of the Regional Planning Commission.
The Commission has 23 members who are appointed to two-year terms by the Morrow County Commissioners. The Commission’s members include a member from each of Morrow County’s 16 townships, two representatives from the county’s villages, two at-large members, who can be from any part of the county, one member representing agriculture, one member representing fire & safety and one member representing commerce
Williams commented on her time on the commission, “I’ve enjoyed being a member of the Commission for the past 20 or so years, and hope I’ve been able to contribute something to the County over this time. I wish Commission members success as they continue to focus on land use standards and practices that are right for Morrow County.”
