Early morning fire destroys Troy Twp. home

06/12/14 5:00 p.m. – An early morning fire totally destroyed a house in the 6000 block of County Road 47 west of State Route 314 in Troy Township.

Several calls came in about 12:47 a.m. June 12, 2014 about a structure fire; Troy Township firefighters responded, as well as the Morrow County sheriff’s office. Sheriff Steve Brenneman said no one was home at the time of the fire, which totally consumed the structure. Fire investigators were on the scene Thursday morning, as well as the Johnsville Fire Department to water down hot spots in the timbers.

No information is available yet as the investigation continues.
