First let me commend you on your service to this country and I thank you. Since you served in WW II, you are a few years older than myself, but I must respectfully disagree with your comparing Mr. Hack’s fervor, with the insanity of Mr. McCarthy and his Anti-Communist campaign in the late forties. Mr. McCarthy had a tendency to see a Communist behind every tree, whereas Mr. Hack, only sees a Socialist or a Communist, as I prefer to call him, behind the doors of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. When you look at some of Mr. Obama’s former and present associates you can understand Mr. Hack’s and many others concern that Mr. Obama is leading us down a very dangerous road to Socialism. His former Pastor (?) Reverend Wright, wanted God to Damn America. His friend and associate William Ayers, was a member of the Weatherman Underground and responsible for bombing a Federal Building, back in the sixties. His former Czar, Van Jones is an avowed Communist and just the other day, one of his staunchest supporters and financial contrributor, Jeffery Immelt, the CEO of GE and I might add, a man who does a lot of business, with Communist China, made the Asinine Statement, (despite the fact that he has become very wealthy in a Capitalist society) that a little Communism would not be all that bad.
Remembering the quote from Sophicles, I believe, you should not kill the messenger, just because you don’t like his message. Mr. Hack and many others are merely trying to warn those who may be blinded by Mr. Obama’s rhetoric and oratory skills, which to my way of thinking is all that he has going for him.
I’m sure Mr. Hack doesn’t need anyone defending him, because he is totally capable of doing that himself. I am just mirroring his concern.

I think everyone would benefit from a clear understanding of what services this group provides, exactly, and to whom, before another attempt at a levy is made. I for one am tired of being bombarded by this request at the polls every time I vote, but perhaps I (and others) am not clear on all the services provided by this group.

He was born on Octo­ber 24, 1969 in Colum­bus to the late Robert E. and Betty (Gillman) Verdine. He was a 1988 grad­u­ate of High­land High School and had worked as an Aid for Morn­ing View and Wood­side Vil­lage and stocker for Kroger.

Bobby loved to spend time with his chil­dren and grand­chil­dren. He also enjoyed watch­ing mon­ster movies, play­ing video games and stay­ing in con­tact with his friends on Facebook.

He is sur­vived by his wife: Loretta (Mid­daugh) Coth­ern and they were mar­ried april 18, 1991 in Mount Gilead; son: Guy Coth­ern of Mount Gilead; daugh­ter: Audrey (Jon) Butchko of Can­ton; grand­chil­dren: Lillyan and Dustin; sis­ters: Dani (Charlie) Rice of Paducah, KY, Lynn (Jerry) Cole­man of Colum­bus; grand­mother: Ruth Coth­ern of Marengo and beloved Uncle Tim Cothern, of Marengo.

And what this did not say is how much fun my brother was to be around. He was always joking, laughing. He loved teasing people just to get a rise out of them. He loved music, loved his family..loved his friends. No one could be angry around him, it was just impossible. He somehow always found a way to make light in even the darkest of times.
He will be missed so very much. And I hope I will never stop hearing his laughter or imagining his grin.
