Mount Gilead native presents classmates with quilt of valor

Ginny Coning Manning, formally of Mount Gilead, was honored to make and present nine of her fellow classmates with a Quilt of Valor at their recent 50th class reunion Oct. 1.

Ginny has been a member of the Gwinnett QOV Quilters since January 2010 which gather and sews monthly in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The Quilts of Valor Foundation started in 2003 and has grown to over 7000 members and has presented over 145,000 quilts to service men and women that have served our country.
