Fairview United Methodist Church, celebrating its 160th anniversary on Oct. 29, will conclude that event the next evening, when the church hosts the Key Ministries Singspiration.

The service, to begin at 7 p.m. will feature “old favorite” hymns selected that evening by those attending. “Everyone who likes to sing those familiar hymns is encouraged to join us for a time of fellowship,” said a church spokesperson. “Just call out your favorite song and we will sing a verse of two.”

Dianne Carwell will accompany on the piano and Janet Ekleberry will lead the singing. Co-hosting the service will be Key Ministries officers Judy Lowther and Twila Gardner. Host pastor is Kyle Gould.

Those wishing to perform a special number are welcome. They are asked to come prepared and let program officials know when they arrive. The public is invited to join the congregation to celebrate the church’s anniversary during this weekend observance.
