Northmor Senior JOG student, Cindy Pulley, attended the Jobs for America’s Graduates Leadership Conference in November. Cindy is co-president of the Northmor JOG program.

During this conference, Cindy participated in the Employability Skills competition along with Kennedy Leavens and Racheal Morrison who participated in Employability Math Skills. Cindy did an interview, along with resume, and filling out an application.

Cindy received a second place award for competing against 397 students who came from 34 states. She was number 12 for the interviewing process and had to wait until the other 385 students competed. One challenging aspect of the competition was that Cindy had left her resume on the plane going out to Washington DC. With the help of Mount Gilead JOG Specialist, Gerry Hartman, they retrieved it through the Northmor System.
