Forty braved the rainy, windy day to participate in the National Day of Prayer Service sponsored by the Morrow County Ministerial Association on Thursday.

The Theme was “Four your great name’s sake!” All those gathered participated in the the 2017 National responsive prayer.

Leaders for the service were Mount Gilead Trinity United Methodist Pastor, Jeff Canankamp and Jim Brucker. Offering prayer for seven national points of prayer were: Government, Tom Whiston; Military, Pat Davies; Media, Alberta Stojkovic; Business, Dixie Shinaberry; Education, Anne Cotton; Church, Pastor Jeff Canankamp and Family, Kelly Hand with Hudson Hand.

Pastor Canankamp concluded the service with prayer and prayer requests. Organist for the service was Pat Irons.
