Board of Elections Director, Penny Porter is nominated as the Morrow County “Honoree” at the Tribute to Women to be held at Worthington Hills Country Club on July 9.

President of Morrow County Republican Women, Pat Davies said the Women’s GOP of Morrow County is “thrilled to announce Penny Porter as the Morrow County Tribute to Women Award winner.”

Davies called Porter an outstanding Republican who has spent more than 25 years supporting Republican values and candidates.

Morrow County Recorder, Dixie Shinaberry said Porter has served on the Board of Elections for 21 years and is currently Director. Porter held the office of President and Secretary of Morrow County RepublicanWomen. She is a member of the Century Club and volunteers in many ways for to Women Morrow County Republicans and Republican Women.

Penny and her husband Tim have three children and live on a farm in the Chesterville area that is a fourth generation farm.

The Ohio Federation of Republican Women announced the Tribute toWomen is to celebrate the exemplary service and vision of honorees and to pay tribute to the dedicated and energized leadership and membership of these women. As an honoree, Porter will be treated to lunch at the Worthington Hills Country Club with celebrity guests.
