302 pm EDT Wed, Jun 17, 2015 – the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a FLOOD WARNING for Marion and Morrow counties until 300 am EDT Thursday.

At 255 pm EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding of numerous roads throughout Marion and Morrow counties from rain that occurred earlier today as well as early Tuesday. While only a few light rain showers were in the area this afternoon, additional rain is expected to move into the area this evening and tonight with another inch to inch and a half of rain possible. This will likely increase flooding in the area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include… Marion… Mount Gilead… Cardington… Ashley… Prospect… La Rue… Morral… Waldo… Chesterville… Sparta… Caledonia… New Bloomington… Edison… Green Camp… Marengo… Fulton… State Route 229 at US Route 23… Shauck and Iberia.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
