May 12- Domestic complaint

Mount Gilead Police responded to a domestic altercation at the Mohawk Trailer Park at 1:30 a.m. Both parties were given a verbal warning.

May 14- OVI

A driver on South Delaware Street was cited for OVI, underage consumption and no front license plate. The officer arrested another party in the vehicle on an active warrant out of Marion County.

May 14- OVI

An officer cited an East High Street drive for an OVI and possession of marijuana.

May 15- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police were dispatched to the Morrow County Hospital to assist with a drunk and disorderly patient.

May 16- Vandalism

An East High Street business had some of its equiptment vandalized. Officers were asked to patrol the area to ensure it not happen again.

MGPD responded to Morrow County Hospital to assist the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office with a disorderly patient.

May 17- Assault

A West High Street resident reported that she was assaulted.

May 18- Threat

Mount Gilead Police responded to threats made at the McDonald’s on West Marion Street.

May 18- Vandalism

An officer was dispatched to the Boy Scouts of America camp on East High Street to respond to a possible break-in.

May 18- Theft

The Thrift Store on West Marion Road reported that two of its yard signs were stolen.

May 18- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police were dispatched to assist Morrow County EMS with an unresponsive intoxicated person on South Delaware Street.

May 18- Assist other unit

A Home Road resident was found to be intoxicated and unresponsive. MGPD assisted the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office with the subject.

May 19- Theft

A West Marion Street resident reported that his credit card was stolen and used.

May 20- Vandalism

Mount Gilead Police were dispatched to respond to a vehicle that was driving along Delaware Street. Its occupants were throwing fireworks onto the porches of houses in the area.

May 20- Harassment

A man was threatening to damage a vehicle on East Center Street.

May 20- Arrest on warrant

Mount Gilead Police arrested a Center Street resident on an outstanding Mount Gilead Mayor’s Court warrant.

May 20- Vandalism

Mid-Ohio Recycling reported that several juveniles were throwing rocks at trucks parked at the business.

May 22- Driving under suspension

A driver on Town Street was arrested for driving unders suspension.

A North Rich Street resident reported that her car had been keyed.

May 23- Vandalism

Mount Gilead Police responded to a North Rich Street residence regarding a vehicle that was damaged overnight.

An East North Street resident reported that his vehicle was keyed, as well as two others.

May 24- Assault

An East Center Street resident assaulted the complainant after he threatened to shoot him.

May 24- Assist other unit

MGPD was called to assist Morrow County EMS with a overdose patient on West Marion Street.

May 25- Drunk

An officer was dispatched to a Westview Drive residence to respond to an underage male passed out in the yard.
