1:17 A.M. While on patrol, an officer noticed a vehicle parked on West Marion Road with its lights on. The officer approached the vehicle and there was no one inside and the vehicle was unlocked. The officer asked dispatch to make contact with the owner and see what was going on with the vehicle. Shortly after dispatch advised he made contact with the owner and he would be en route to get it.
4:50 A.M. Complainant locked her keys in her vehicle on South Main Street. Entry was gained, no damage.
7:06 A.M. Dispatch advised she received a call advising there was some sort of alarm going in the area of North Walnut Street. Upon arrival, the officer could hear the alarm and it sounded like it was coming from North Walnut. The officer looked in the windows and the building appeared to be vacant.
2:14 P.M. The complainant locked her keys inside her vehicle on Chartwell Street. Entry was gained without damage.
1:05 A.M. The complainant advised that he believed he heard male voices coming from the HPM property. The officer was unable so locate anyone.
9:20 A.M. The officer assisted the sheriff’s office with a fire drill in the jail.
2:22 P.M. The complainant locked the keys inside her vehicle at the Kroger. Entry was gained without damage.
5:12 P.M. Dispatch advised of juveniles near the pool who were playing around and causing problems with the workers. The officer spoke with the juveniles and gave them warnings for disorderly conduct and told them if he had to return it would be a different outcome.
12:30 P.M. Deputy Ellis requested an officer assist him with a domestic between father and son at the Marathon.
3:45 P.M. Complainant locked her keys in her vehicle on West Marion Road. Entry was gained without damage.
8:48 P.M. Cited and released a male subject for theft on West Marion Road.
10:22 P.M. Complainant advised there were several juveniles in the parking lot walking around vehicles and he was not sure what they were doing. Upon the officers arrival the officers patrolled the area and did not locate any juveniles in the parking lot.
1:00 A.M. While on patrol the officer observed a disables vehicle on North Main Street at the intersection of Park Avenue. The office made contact with the owner who advised that the vehicle had overheated and he was waiting for it to cool down before continuing. The officer assisted by pushing the vehicle onto Park Avenue and resumed patrol.
2:49 A.M. While on foot patrol at the merchants building, the officer found the front entrance to be unsecure and ajar. The officer checked the building and secured the door.
4:50A.M. Dispatch advised that multiple reports were received of dogs barking loudly and constantly at North Main Street. The officer located a contact number and left a voice message for them to return the officers call.
1:10 P.M. Dispatch advised of an alarm drop at East Main Street. Upon arrival the officer made contact with a male subject. The male subject and his wife Contacted to clean the building. After obtaining their information the office cleared the scene.
4:09 A.M. While performing a house check at the East Main Street location, the officer found the East window on the South side of the residence to be unlocked and slightly open. Deputy Smith and an officer made entry and checked the residence. Nothing appeared to be out of place.
5:15 A.M. At deputy Smith’s request, the officer responded to the Road 191 location to assist on a report of an active domestic dispute in which the caller’s son was attempting to break down her door. The officer notified Captain Underwood while en route.
6:20 P. M. Certified reported a gas drive off.
1:30 P.M. The complainant requested a well being check on her seven year old son on Highland Avenue. The son was staying with his father and did not go to school. The school contacted the complainant to check on the son. The officer made contact with the father. The father stated the son had been ill so that is why he was at home.
4:10 P.M. Complainant reported someone took a box of Tonka trucks from her husband’s truck on South Delaware Street. The incident occurred Friday May 23, 2014.
7:30 P.M. Complainant reported someone broke into his home on East Elm Street.
8:10 P.M. Neighbors of a male subject called M.C.S.O. to report that he was yelling and screaming profanities at neighbors as they were walking by and he was drunk on South Main Street. The male subject was cited for disorderly conduct and advised that if the officers had to return he would go to jail.
8:44 P.M. Two officers assisted squad 1 with an elderly female that was unresponsive on Douglas Street.
9:19 P.M. Arrested a female on a warrant out of the city of Marion on West Marion Road.
11:15 A.M. Complainant reported some prescription drugs stolen form her home on North Walnut Street.
12:45 P.M. Complainant locked the keys inside her vehicle on North Main Street. Entry was gained without damage.
5:30 P.M. The complainant stated he recently received guardianship of a male subject to take him to Arizona to go to a rehabilitation facility. The male subject has not stopped drinking since his release from jail on Monday. The male subject lives on West High Street. The officer left a message for the male subjects PO officer.
5:50 P.M. Complainant reported one of her techs found a black case in the parking lot on Meadow Drive. The case contained a mobile tracking device.
6:27 P.M. Officer’s assisted E.M.S. 9 and Medic 1, 4 with an unresponsive non breather on Bank Street.
7:17 P.M. Complainant reported that a male subject was at his residence on South Main Street and threatened his life. The officer attempted to contact the male subject at his residence, no one was home.
