Public Safety Day shows many Morrow County emergency resources

Caitlin Duda, Chairman for Public Safety Day, was pleased with the number of families who turned out for the day Saturday at EMS Headquarters in Mount Gilead. She said it was especially good to watch the children get a close look at the fire trucks, ambulances and police cars. It was the first time that many people had the opportunity to tour the EMS offices and see where 911 dispatchers work.


Groundbreaking sets wheels in motion for shelter

Last Thursday was the official start date to a project near and dear to many Morrow County citizens; the groundbreaking of the new dog shelter.Commissioner Dick Miller welcomed the assembled group to the ceremony and offered brief but sincere words on the levity of the matter at hand.
