A Tuesday afternoon single vehicle accident sent two people to Columbus hospitals.

A Chevrolet Suburban was northbound on County Rd 20 about 4:27 p.m. when it flipped and slid on its roof, coming to rest against the southbound ditch. A southbound driver stopped to assist the driver and passenger of the Suburban until Morrow County EMS arrived.

The two were airlifted to Columbus hospitals. Also responding to the scene was the Mt. Gilead Fire Dept., the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Post 59 of the Ohio State Patrol.
