A Morrow County man was arrested Saturday for drug possession after he overdosed in a parked car.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports that early morning on June 14, 2014, they received a call of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Marathon station on St. Rt. 61 at I-71. While enroute, the office was told it was a possible drug overdose.
Upon arrival, a deputy found a male fitting the description standing by his car acting strange and confused. Upon investigation, the man was identified as Daniel Tavenor. He had just come out of a suspected drug overdose on his own.
Witnesses told officers Tavenor was parked in the lot for over two hours. During the investigation, several large and small bags of suspected illegal drugs were confiscated. They will be sent to B.C.I. for testing.
Tavenor was arrested for drug trafficking and felony drug possession. A small amount of cash and his vehicle were seized.
