A three vehicle crash sent one person to Morrow County Hospital Sunday evening about 7:30 p.m.
According to witnesses on the scene, a 2001 Dodge Durango was westbound on West High Street when a 1995 Ford Ranger turned left out of the Dollar General parking lot in front of the Durango. The Durango struck the truck, forcing it into the eastbound lane of traffic, where it was struck again by a 2006 Nissan Altima.
The female driver of the Nissan was transported to MCH with minor injuries. The male passenger of the Ranger was uninjured. The Durango had two occupants and the male driver was uninjured. The female passenger had complaints of some soreness and expressed that she may have family drive her to the hospital later to be checked.
Responding to the scene were Mt. Gilead Fire Dept., Mt. Gilead Police Dept., Morrow County EMS, the Morrow County Sheriff’s office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident is under investigation by the Mt. Gilead PD.
