United Church Homes recently announced the appointment of Alissa Clouse to the position of director of annual giving and special events. United Church Homes is a housing and healthcare provider, primarily for older adults, responsive to the needs of the whole person and based on Christian values.
Alissa brings over seven years of experience in the aging services sector. Prior to joining United Church Homes, Alissa gained extensive fundraising experience specializing in grant development at Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Service Foundation. Alissa has volunteered with numerous aging services for non-profits, and worked with the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio to assist in program implementation.
Alissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology from Bowling Green State University and a master of business administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.
Her new responsibilities will include facilitating the annual giving programs and donor appreciation events, grant writing, relationship management and program administration for the advancement department.

Alissa and her husband, Richard currently live in the Marengo area.
