Highland struggled early on at home against Elgin last Tuesday in suffering a 57-21 loss.
The Comets took a 16-2 lead after eight minutes of play and moved up by a 33-7 margin by the half. They would add eight points to their lead in the third quarter and then outscore the Scots 11-10 in the fourth to close out their win.
Kayla Davies scored nine points to lead Highland’s effort.
On Friday, the Scots dropped a 71-22 decision to Centerburg. The Trojans, in their first year in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference, led 14-8 after the opening quarter, but then blew open the game.
They outscored the Scots 22-6 in the second period to take a 36-14 lead and then put up a 35-8 second half against the Scots to claim the win.
