‪Todd Nauman, a 1975 Highland High School graduate, was honored last Saturday by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association at halftime of a game in the girls' state basketball tournament at Value City Arena in Columbus. Nauman, head coach at Centerburg for 26 years — five with the boys' team, 21 with the girls — was honored with the Bob Arnzen Award, given coaches who give 20 consecutive years to the same school and for their loyalty and commitment to Ohio high school basketball. Nauman, whose 2013-14 Lady Trojans squad went 15-7 on the year and shared the Mid-Ohio Conference Blue Division title with Fredericktown, also was honored for recording 300 wins. His 26-year record now stands at 317-150 and includes two district championships.‬
