The gymnasium at the Tomorrow Center in Edison was filled to capacity with students, parents and community members on Friday December 20th for the Tomorrow Center’s First Holiday Variety Show.

“We hope to have this as an annual event. “said Susie Sexton, Family and Civic Engagement Coordinator who served as MC for the event.

The Variety Show featured student performers, duets with parents and the Tomorrow Center Holiday Choir under the direction of Susie Sexton, Brittany Whirl, Ben Schaad, Christine Mangette, Linda Ruehrumnd and Pat Maxwell.

Powerful vocal performances were given by the students. Trevor Louderback and Gage Davis performed a duet. Na’Taysia Williams, Jessica Lustritz, Sativa Gottfried, Anthony Webb and Trevor Louderback performed solos, with Webb singing A Capella.

Two very touching performances were given by Brooke Mash and her Mom Sandy and Jessica Lustritz with her dad Mark.

The Tomorrow Center Holiday Choir sang a number of Christmas favorites closing out with a special guest appearance by Santa Claus himself during the song “Must be Santa.”

The Tomorrow center Staff would like to thank everyone for their support.

This holiday concert would not have been possible without the dedication, hard work, passion and creativity of the staff and students of the Tomorrow Center. We are especially grateful to the community supporters as well, Linda Ruehrmund and Pat Maxwell.
